Kemar Bailey-Cole finished a creditable 4th in the IAAF World Championships 100m Final in Moscow.

Bailey-Cole had stormed through the early rounds with some fantastic runs and was content with his final performance of 9.98 in a thunderstorm.

‘It’s just that the rain affects me because I have tendinitis, so it tends to act up when the time is cold.’ Said Kemar

‘The 100 was a good experience for me and even motivates me more to come back in each Championship and execute better. It will help me a lot, because each time I run I learn more.’

Kemar also had a message for the Jamaican fans who have supported him all the way.

‘The fans have been incredible. I have had a lot of support. I am now concentrating on the relay as my chance for a medal at the Championships.’
